I didn't bother to break mine in. I'm under the impression that is no longer necessary.
'Course, I don't tend to be that hard on the engine anyway. I don't think I've gotten the high rev light to come on more than once or twice in 110,000 miles.
What I'm hard on is tires (cornering).
