One time my co-worker put in an undeclared asset onto the network (a new router for testing) and within an hour or so, a whole bunch of IT security dudes showed up at his cube from HQ. Good thing they were convinced it was just a misunderstanding haha! |
That's terrible security, security theater to be exact. It's like putting armed guards in front while leaving the back door open.
