I might be particularly sensitive to this type of stuff. For my desktop workstation, I have disabled the LED lights on my monitor, speakers, and tower. They weren't blinking, but they were too bright.
If you look carefully, you'll find out that, in Morse code, the blinking spells out three letters: OCD.
