How important is "fun to drive" for your daily driver compared to noise and comfort? Then what does your FRS do that those wouldn't? The reviews I read when our car came out said it was the best driver's car short of a Carrera 4s, but how important is that compared to the other desires for a daily driver? What about a Carrera 4s? The mileage isn't great, but it's very nice inside and a blast to drive. And PASM makes for a very comfortable ride.

thats what im trying to decide. I'd like both fun factor (manual) and comfort. so the e90 m3 seems like the best solution. the logic 7 sound system is pretty damn good and the car rides very well. the steering is a bit numb though compared to the older m3's like the e36 and e46... but i feel that for a daily it would do nice.
I'd like to try an AMG just because i've never had one before. but the lack of a good manual tranny in my life would drive me nuts.
the porsches like the early 997.1's are just too dated for me. and it doesn't make sense to have a 458 and 911 at the same time. although that would be kind of cool.
