I'm sure, the engineers must have designed it to be flogged from cold, after all it has a relief valve set at around 140, but for me (running 30 wt) I see about 3-4X stable pressure on cold start for the first few minutes.

For reference when cold I prefer to "shift at 120psi" rather than a specific rpm, little more dynamic.

100 PSI will get you the entire warmed up operational range!
