Why not even them out? If you have 1 cm difference, shorten the longer one by 0.5 cm and make the other 0.5 cm longer.

If you have access to two jacks, it's much easier to do it with the wheels off. Keep the car on jack stands. Then put a jack under each upright (hub) and lift the car both sides just enough till the suspension compresses and and you take the load off the jack stands.
