25 years of driving, and I've only driven an auto once and didn't like it very much. But I still struggled with this car. Thanks to the high bite point (better when you adjust it), lack of clutch feel and the way the throttle pedal seems to go from 0 to 90% in 1/2 inch of travel it's the most difficult manual car I've driven and the first few weeks I was kangarooing out of junctions like a learner.

hydralics, clutch springs, etc. All these convience things suck and get rid of all the feel. Hell even the stock shifter is garbage. When I drove a MT the first time it made me glad I got the AT (first AT I have ever owned)
The only mt I have driven that was worse was the new VW Rabbits they had out in the mid 2000s. I stalled it like 5 times on the test drive when I helped my aunt gk car shopping.
