I think I qualify for antique.
Turning 70 in a couple of months. I still have the first new car I bought. A 1968 MGB/GT. Got it while in collage, got my license at Watkins Glen.
Raced until married, had to take time off for children.
Finally in 1999 got a new AC and put a LS1 in it and went back to the track. Three new engines later (dry sump LS7 now). I did get tired pulling it all over the south.
Got a Mini S in 03 as a DD but it was on the track at Black Hawk several times. Can not leave anything alone, so engine work, exhaust, brakes.
Somehow during this time MGB's started to multiply in the shop.
I remembered how much fun the track was so I got a Noble M400, damn that car is fast!
Parents died and I inherited a small house in Fl. So I "needed" a small rag top to drive. Got an older Porsche Boxster S. No track time yet.
Took my Mini to my son near PIR for him to drive and play with and got the BRZ, Ok, couldn't leave it alone, wheels, tires, brakes, exhaust, and of course a supercharger.
Some where in between a 1933 MG/J2, a 1956 AC/Ace (reproduction), and several MGB restorations.
I get up every morning and say to myself how lucky can one guy get, and I smile.
