Oh it's not that I (we) can't take them it's that you are asking the car for a lot and is it really that important to do that frequently? As I've matured (aged?) I tend not to jump away from lights like I used to so winding the car out to 5k+ in regular street traffic isn't something I need to do as much as I did in the past. That minivan or sedan driver doesn't have to ask his/her motor to work terribly hard to outdistance us.
