You don't even need the key in the ignition - just unlock and open the door then press the ODO button. Dash and gauges will light up. Cycle through until G-OFF / G-ON come up then put it either on or off as you wish.

As for a physical paper manual, can't wait till one is available - have always bought the factory service manual for my vehicles.
