E85 and supporting mods adds about 100hp on top of the CARB tuned car that already makes 260-270whp (365whp vs 260 whp).. that's roughly 37-38% more than what the CARB tuned car does.. sooo..

I'm n/a... I'm making about 230bhp compared to 268bhp for a wrx. Which with the weight difference makes them about even on paper...
I'm talking about not on paper though...
Same thing with an A4 and a GTI....

And as far as carb, there is no one that could EVER write me up for ANYTHING with my car tuned the way it is right now. It looks bone stock except for the cat back, which I've already had certified as carb compliant.
