To me at least, it seems like an ECU programming/learning issue. I bet if I pulled the battery for 15 minutes and reconnected it that it would be fine for a while. My 2014 Mustang would do the same thing, but only occasionally and never this bad.

At 280 miles your ECU hasn't completely learned yet. Give it some time and I bet it clears up.
