For those who use empty parking lots (like those used for autocrosses), light poles and curbs are much more common in a parking lot than on a frozen lake. That's all it meant.

Tell you the truth, I have never done auto-x. All my runs has been track runs. Only closest one that you can count auto-x is Snow-x... but still it was in the track.
