The number one reason to install a catch can inline with the PCV on any boxer motor is the port injectors. Burning oil causes excess carbon buildup and fowls the port injectors regardless of how hard you drive your car. Savage Geese has youtube video on what it takes to service these things if you want to take a look at it ... for those that don't, you pretty much have to take the top half of the engine apart ... it took them a whole day to do it in a professional shop.
The rocker cover configuration is next to useless in N/A form and 100% necessary on forced induction cars.
I do not have any experience with the Cusco can, but I can attest to the effectiveness of the Billet Oil Catch Can #BC-175 ... I got mine from phasetek 2 years ago. It is baffled, and the instructions that come with it are for a mid 90's Camero. I installed mine behind the passenger headlight with longer hoses than were supplied. The baffles work very well on their own, but with an added piece of steel wool I catch about 20-30 ml of oil every thousand miles or so.
I empty the can as often as I can remember to to prevent sloshing oil in the can from blowing back into the return line.
