Android Auto can run on an Android head unit. It can do exactly what you're saying it can't do. Yes, there will be dumb head units like the Alpine iLX-007 for CarPlay. No, Android Auto doesn't only run on QNX. Yes, it could potentially run on our head units. Please don't spread misinformation.
