Open your glovebox, and look down the right side on the outside of the box, and you'll see a pin with a slot in it sticking out of the side of the box. There is a little "damper" that snaps over that pin. I'd bet that your damper is hanging free from it's upper mounting point. Grab it and snap the hole in the bottom over the pin on the side of the glovebox. Hope that helps.

***update*** Just double checked and pulled out the glovebox and stuffed way up in there was the tiny damper. Hooked it all back up and smooth glovebox action again!

Yep, thanks -- I saw that pin which made me think there was something supposed to snap over it, but I can't find that part.

Back to the dealer I guess...
