When I went to the dealer to take a test drive, I saw a 2015 fresh out of the plant with 3 miles on it. However, I've seen pictures floating around with cars having only 1 mile.

Off line in Japan.

To holding yard.
On to truck/train.
On to ship.
Off of ship.
Into port holding yard.
Into port shop for North American bolt ons.
Back to port holding yard.
On to truck/train.
To possible regional holding yard (dependent on final destination)
On to truck.
Arrive at dealers.
May be driven at dealers but not necessarily.
Possibly transferred from one dealer to another if certain colour/features are requested
Yes, there are some with one or two miles on them but they are pretty rare. Even though several of the delivery steps don't require much (if any driving) the miles can pile up in a hurry. Don't get put off if it has 50 or more miles on it.
