That being said, I'd still like it to sit flush at high rates of speed. Guess it's time to do more research and figure out how to keep it from doing it.
I guess I could always do what I did with my 1970 Chevelle. Just install hood pins.

It's not popping up to the backup latch; there's just a little play in the primary latch. I think I read that you can adjust the primary latch downwards to compensate, but you should do some research into that before assuming that I know what I'm talking about.
