As far as adding TRD springs to a '15, I would indeed be a bit wary. The TRD springs were designed to work with the older front struts (read: less dampening). This is why Swift had FRS Spec and BRZ Spec springs for the '12-14 models. The '15 front struts will work well with anything that was BRZ specific or was applicable to both cars (RCE, RSR, etc).

The TRD springs are
not shown to be compatible with the 2015 FR-S on Toyota's official parts site. I find that odd due to the fact that the 2015 RS 1.0s have TRD springs installed.
