It's just a minor difference in feel, not "omg, I can't control the car anymore".
And the pressure gauge doesn't need to be perfectly accurate it just needs enough precision. If you check one tire twice and it read the same both times it's precise enough.
Edit: and it's not just my FRS, I have noticed it in any car that I drive regularly.
