So now we go onto the fun Picture detailing part

Day 1: From the Dealer, used, but in perfect condition 14k miles.
CAR IS COMPLETELY STOCK, other than the Pioneer unit
First upgrade I do other than the air filter is the sound upgrade. Car Came with Pioneer AVH-2400 from the previous owner.
Went to @
DarrenDriven's house and had some Eibach Sportlines installed!
6 Months Later
Went to a couple meets and got some shots of my car/others
Finally decided to bite the bullet and buy some actual performance. One of the forum members was selling a used Open Flash Header / Open Flash Tablet combo for $800. Couldn't resist
Started off by running a stage 1 EL 91 Tune for the first week or so. The drive-ability was increased, torque dip was reduced and it was a nice change over mostly stock performance. Constantly was checking the software tuning sub-forums and ended up paying a visit to a local shop that served E85. Corn-juice, Car booze. Whatever you wanted to call it, it WORKED... On a stock car, the E85 OTS tune is quite good. The attention to detail from @
steve99 and @
Shiv@Openflashperformance was noticable.
After taking it easy for around 25-30 miles to let the ECU adjust, the engine roared to life like nothing before.
After several days of using the tune and E85 I noticed a sound around the 3800-4500 RPM Range, I was still learning about the fuel trims and was honestly worried that it was running lean. After researching a while longer I found it was the VVTi caused from the tune, and the sound grew on me as I waited for the header to arrive from PA.
After some unsuccess of getting help putting the Header on, I ended up borrowing jack stands from my brother and putting the header on myself, as this was the last piece of the puzzle that I had purchased.
Took some time and using the borla header install pdf, managed to mount and seal the new header into place. I bought and used new gaskets from the dealer.

I decide to finally Dyno my car to see what I'm actually making at the wheels. I set up the appointment at PRE in portland and show up to get it dyno'd. Lots of mixed things about PRE, honestly I doubt I would ever let them work on my car, but as far as buying parts and using their Dyno; they're good at what they do.
Video and Dyno sheet:

Over 200whp was the final result, of course on E85. But i'm still very happy with the result.

I'm loving the journey so far
