Yup. Perfectly normal. When the engine is applying torque to accelerate, the rear wheels resist rotating at different speeds, hence the term "limited slip."
When operating at steady speed or coasting, it behaves just like an open diff.
This is my first car with one. I got a big shit-eating grin when I first noticed it because it feels just like my brother's 911.
