Looks like there were 4 cars in the STU class and only two of them were on the pace with the S2000 taking the win on Saturday and Michelle finishing 2nd with the S2000 running 2:05s and Michelle running 2:07s. Then something must have happened to the S2000 on Sunday because he finished multiple laps down while Michelle took the win with both cars running laps in the 2:05s. Nice job picking up two seconds on Sunday. |
Thanks dude. The s2k ended up over driving and went off track. That s2k is the same car the took 2nd at the scca national run offs at Leguna seca last year (different driver). we were pretty stoked to be in the 2:05's while running on some pretty used up NT01's. There's definitely a few seconds to be lost out there with a better tire but consistency, hard work, and a little luck proved us well on sunday - especially considering we did a last minute pull of the transmission friday afternoon before heading out to the track haha
