yes that noise happens with a lot of NA tunes especially for EL header, heaps of threads on it.
appears to be due to intake or exhaust resonance due agressive vvt setting to reduce torque dip.
not heard of motors exploding as a result and heaps of people running tune that do it from perrin fa20club oft ect. see @
ztans post in vvt noise thread for possible reduction in noise
