If you like doing things yourself, I'd go a different route. I find it very therapeutic.
For the cost of opticoating your car.. you could buy a buffer, polish your car, and use Optimum Gloss-Coat. I've had great results with gloss coat, even though it's not permanent (2 years). It's as easy as cleaning your countertops.
I figure you will appreciate the results much more, and you get a buffer to fix any problems. Unless you have no time to work on your car... and then you're not a car guy anyway
