People will tell you they melt, but I've had them on mine for about 6-7k miles and no melting signs. The only problem was the engine was vibrating my oil cooler loose. A bit of lock tight will cure that next time I get the bumper off. At a stop light it vibrates but it smoothes out at above 1500 rpms.
