Yea, same as the extended warranty sales pitch:

Salesman: Congratulations on your choice, you've picked one on the most reliable <name your device here> on the market.

Me: Thanks.

Salesman: Now, do you want the extended warranty because you know its going to fail the second the warranty ends and you will need it.

Me: Ugmm, maybe I just won't buy the product after all if it isn't expected to last <length of warranty> months without falling apart.

Salesman: But, it is reliable that just won't happen. Our failure rate is once in a blue moon.

Me: Exactly.
