Keep in mind it depends on how sophisticated (read: expensive to build) an engine is, too. No doubt the FA20 could get better mileage and/or more power, but at what cost? A lot more than you're paying now! Sacrifices.

To answer both of your questions, it's a 2010 Cobalt SS turbocharged. It has the GM Stage 1, so 280HP and 320TQ at the crank. And Turbowned, I was thinking about that (different types of engines).

Have you ever driven a high powered FWD vehicle without an LSD? Torque steer is a bitch. Without the Stage 1, it was not so bad. With the Stage 1, it is a bit ridiculous.
