That always cracks me up. The number of students or recent grads without a buttload of student loans to pay down would doom this car for sure if it were not for the empty nesters that are buying these cars up. It is these guys that keep the sales up. Same as the target buyers for MX5s.

The Japanese must think all Americans are rich and pay for their kids education and buy them a new car upon graduation. Listen up Japan. It ain't so! Your target demographic is swimming in debt before they even enter the job market,
