Why would Scion offer the FT86 internationally especially when Scion is only able to crank out less than 2500 units of each line up. Even if Scion is TECHNICALLY Toyota, they are still their own company, and as such probably wouldn't be able to offer the FT86 as to where they stand now, they are still a relatively new corporation.

So whats with all this rumors and press releases and such? Even with my very limited knowlege of business, shares, and partners. In my head this just not make sense.

Im 100% positive that the FT86 will not be sold as a Scion as they have no where near the capacity to maintain a large order, especially since it will indefinitely replace the already high sales of its current coupe the TC which still has 2-3 more years of shelf life.
I have to agree. Scion can't deliver internationally, where they are supposedly marketing this car. I mean, Scion just hit Canada. They are missing a huge part of the world.
