Teenagers are no better or worse then they have ever been in recorded history - every generation just thinks the following ones are worse.

High school is no harder or easier then it was in any other generation - it has always required higher grades to get into the best colleges this is not a new thing.

Schooling is different for everybody - what some find very easy others can not grasp the same as the rest of life

Schools are not all the same so they can not be compared on an equal basis- never been there but willing to bet high end cars are common at schools in Beverly Hills and not so much in Compton.

Some people have money some don't - those with buy their kids nice cars, those without do not.

Good grades and being an athlete do not equal being a "good" kid and poor grades and no extracurricular activities do not equal being a "bad" kid - you have as many good or bad in either group.

Have I ever seen a thread with so much subjective opinions and theories unsupported by objective evidence or data - NO
