And you're right, it's bog standard RWD stuff, pull driveshaft, pull tranny, swap clutches, bolt tranny back up, install driveshaft, hardest part is dealing with the gear lever (like most cars).

BUUUUT, most people don't have the facilities or confidence to do this on their own, after all the throwout bearing is relatively cheap and you risk future hassles on warranty work. ((Of course your DI seals melted, you didn't allow a trusted certified UTI dropout replace your throwout bearing for $100/hour!)/exaggeration)
