Coils are covered 3/36 or 3/50 in California - they are not long term emissions components. Federal coverage on the "high cost" or "long term" components are 8/80

Here's a page out of my warranty handbook at work - this shows coverage for Toyota/Scion products under the emissions warranty. Parts listed 8/80 are your "long term" or "high cost" components.



CA requires long term coverage to 150K on some parts if the car is PZEV certified. The twins are not.
