Both the engine and rear diff use the thin steel "crush" type washers. The I.D. (inside diameter) of the one for the engine is 16mm, and the ones for the diff are 18mm. This type of washer/gasket must be replaced each time. The transmission uses the thicker soft aluminum type, and they can be re-used in a pinch without leaking. The one you have pictured for the engine is not the "correct" one. If the I.D. is right, you may still be ok to use it. What is it made of?
