I just went out to mess with it at lunch. Apparently despite having plenty of space, they is still the issue with the apk files. Once I deleted the downloaded apks I was able to install the other apps no problem. So there must be some bug because before I had 1.16gb free for the app storage. After deleting apks and then adding the new apps I now have 1.1gb free. Obviously there's plenty of space for apps, but somehow the apks are messing with the internal storage??  |
There's an app called "Cleaner" that, among other things, can automatically remove no-longer-needed APK and download.bin files to free up space. Saves some trouble from doing it by hand.
