Yep, what he said. To clarify, Bill, it isn't with the transmission in neutral and clutch to the floor that the high idle occurs. It's transmission in any gear and clutch to the floor while rolling. Stopped, it will fall to a normal idle. Neutral and rolling, normal idle.
It's fine with clear roads ahead when you aren't stopping much, but in stop and go traffic, or slowly negotiating turns in a parking lot, it's just awful to deal with.
Thanks for you attention. It must be a pain to find that balance. I'm currently using an old map which doesn't have that problem, but it does stumble around with the AC on so I understand what you're trying to do with the new maps.
