You guys must not read very well. Plenty of people agreed with what I wrote. I think based on what I've read it depends on national and state/provincial law, and how generous your particular dealer is. Never in 14 years of buying cars in California and Maryland have I been offered the original parts for free when there were dealer added accessories. Obviously, your own personal experiences were different. Doesn't mean the rest of us are completely wrong by comparison, just that we've had our own different experiences.
