Hankook RS3: 235/40R18 vs. 255/35R18

These are going on 18x9.5 wheels.

I know RS3s run wide. Will I have an issue with rubbing on the 255? It's closer to stock dia. but it seems like too much tire. 235/40R18 is 3.2% taller than stock, is that too much? I like the mild stretch the 235 has. Not sure if it will drive traction control haywire...

If only there was an EHP tire that did okay in rain with relatively low noise that came in 245/35R18.
