But the negitive amount is less than before, its a bummer to have to remove the timing. That area is where the new tune added timing over the old one 2 or 3 degrees in places. We have same issue here in OZ our fuel just not as good as where shiv is. But we do find that different brands of fuel can effect knock even though it same octane rating and with no ethanol content.

I rearly would try a different brand of fuel then if no luck, pull a bit more at the effected load/rpm points where the knock is try just over half of what the ecu is removing. The fuel trim and knock learning is pretty quick usually minutes unless you have big fuel trims which you dont.
