Is it just me or are BRZ fans a little too sensitive about these kinds of comparisons?
I mean, no one is saying this isn't an easy thing to fix. Slap an aftermarket suspension on there and you can do what you want. But it is a very interesting result and one of the most indicative indicators of how these cars behave at the limit around a relatively tight course.
Personally as someone who likes to enjoy the car completely stock it gives me a great sense of the cars and just reconfirms that the FRS is the one I want. A car tuned for under steer is actually a good thing most of the time to protect drivers from themselves and I'm glad it exists as an option even though it's not what I'm personally looking for.
First, the problem on this forum was FRS/BRZ against the world, now it seems the community is getting more and more divided with these FRS vs. BRZ threads which overreactions from both sides.
As far as I'm concerned we're all in this together. The cars exist as two separate entities for a reason. Just choose your flavor of ice cream and stop the hating.
