When sensor 2's flow matches sensor 1's, the chance of a CEL is high for P0420. You'll typically see this while cruising, and not spirited driving. This even happens on catless headers. Same concept for either. The only way to truly eliminate it is a tune, otherwise, floor it everywhere you go and don't cruise at one speed. If you're someone that city drives a lot, you probably won't see a CEL. It's the highway drivers it catches due to the closed loop.
My CEL came on today for the second time while on the highway. I typically drive only city so maybe this is my issue. I still need to get the code scanned. I'll report back.
