The confusing opinion is the only thing that prevents me from an MTF change. Do not want my money and effort go down the drain.
I keep saying this but there is a manufacturing variance in these transmissions. What works well in some transmissions does not work well in others. Unfortunately you won't get a straight answer.

If your trans is very resistant to shift 1st to 2nd to 3rd and you are in a colder area Pentosin is a VERY good option to test. If you are getting notchiness when warm or problems with 4-5 or 6th it probably won't do anything.
