It won't be close. On acceleration, the S2000 has a clear power/weight advantage. Stronger acceleration everywhere.

Handling, the AP1 S2000 is about the same weight but has better weight distribution and double-wishbones all around. The AP2 has a bit more wheel width and more tire as well (but a smidge heavier).

The FR-S/BRZ are going to be comparable to the RX-8 in terms of performance. Excellent company! But slower than the S2000...
