Nah, I don't hate Porsches. They are amazing machines. I just don't think they are particularly attractive. But that's never been what Porsche is about. They build a driver's car. Looks have always taken a back seat to performance. Usually the people who drive them accept that.
But now I realize I was wrong about you. I kept wondering, "Why is this guy so hell bent on believing these cars look alike," when they clearly don't. But now I see that it's not that you're embarrassed by your 86, but that you're embarrassed by that fugly Porsche. If Toyota copied it and ended up with something that looks as good as the twins, that would mean your Porsche is not nearly as unattractive as you feared.
