One other benefit would be the ability to reprogram the Radio and GPS buttons. If it works like i think it does, it should be pretty simple. From what I can tell, the GPS button launches the "carnavi" app which is just a symbolic link to your default GPS app. My assumption is that the radio button works the same way. In theory, you would be able to have the radio and GPS button launch whatever app you desire (poweramp, torque, tunein, etc).
