A higher revving motor does not mean anything when that motor stop making power above a certain amount of RPMs.
The F22c1 had a lower redline, but made more power/torque than the F20c, better gear ratios, looks better (subjective). Also, I thought I read somewhere that the reason why they revised the engine was because people kept blowing it up.
I'm just saying - it's a popular thing to say that you prefer the AP1. I just never understood why.
