Although I know what you're trying to say here (in regards to SA helmets), ANY impact renders a helmet garbage. The multiple impacts is for a rollover or any spectacular crash you get in to. Please don't think that if you drop/impact an SA helmet only once that it's still good to use.

If you're familiar with the ASN Canada FIA regulations, which govern all motorsports in the country, SA is not mandatory UNLESS your car has a roll cage, be it autoslalom, time attack, lapping, or what-have-you (obviously, if you're road/door-to-door racing you car will be caged, so SA required). However, organizations are free to impose any kind of mandate on helmets for their events.
