It'll take a ton of money to see the true potential of this engine. I don't doubt the engine in any way. I'm already starting to feel that it's way better than any Subaru engine to date.
The problem is it just won't produce the torque necessary to fight off those damn V8s. We at Greddy just don't have enough time and money to see if the FA20 can make 800+Whp while banging off the rev limiter while sustaining cooling efficiency.
Engines used in drifting cannot be compared drag engines. Sure we can build a 600hp fa20. But will it take the beating?

Ahhh the million dollar question.
On a different note, beautiful setup Ken! I cannot wait to see you kick some ass this year bro!!!

The D1 series, I'm sure, has politics involved as well (it's just that I don't understand it because I don't speak Japanese), but it SEEMS more pure / raw than the series we experience here in the States. I respect ALL drifters and especially the pros, but sometimes skills aren't enough... they need a competitive ride to do their job... and this is why I am so excited for Ken getting a powerplant that isn't so frustrating and limited.

Excellent points mentioned EP. In my opinion, it is obvious that politics exists in D1 but I'll leave it on that note.
