After seeing all the sexy images in this thread, I was finally convinced to remove the subaru lettering from my brz.
I used the dental floss method to get the letters off, which turned out to be really easy.
I then started out by simply rolling the majority of the adhesive off with my soft gloved finger, then used Goo Gone on a micro fiber towel to get the rest of the adhesive off.
Then I washed the area with soap and water really well.

As far as I can tell, all the adhesive is gone, but a sort of faint shadow of the word remains
Although it isn't super visible, its kind of bothering me, most because I know its there lol

Is this because the paint under the lettering needs wax? If so, will a quick spray wax work for a while until I decide to get my car fully waxed properly?
