Edmunds Innovate SC test results

I have been viewing the various threads related to the innovate supercharger and I am still undecided what to do. I use my car for delivery in town and mainly wanted more instant acceleration from 0 to 30 mph in addition to eliminating the dreaded torque dip around 4000 RPMs.
After reading this report from Edmunds, I am discouraged even more about spending thousands of dollars for the advertised upgraded power. Somehow they were only able to gain an additional 40 hp from the aftermarket kit. I am sure the car was only running on premium instead of the E85 fuel (along with no IC), but the 0 to 30 MPH times were actually slightly higher than the OEM NA configuration. Also, I do not have a E85 station in close proximity to my house in Atlanta.
I also viewed a Innovate BRZ YouTube video where the driver pretty much corroborated the lack of improved acceleration in the sub 3500 rpm range. I am sure I would love the power in the higher RPM's, but driving around town I would rarely be able to enjoy it.
Can someone please convince me that my research is flawed and the low-end torque is substantially improved once the kit is installed properly with the addition of the intercooler.

Thanks in advance.

I came back to edit this post after reading about the new Innovate 210+ kit and 335 kit. Maybe I should just keep waiting until these new kits become available and perfected in the US.
